GT Trax had the honour to win two awards at this years Showman's Show. The first accolade that was bestowed upon them was for the Best Stand at the Show, OK it was 3rd prize, but nonetheless with over 300 exhibitors to choose from, 3rd best was some achievement. The second award came from the leading environmental campaigners, Julies Bicycle, who were impressed with GT Trax's environmental credentials.
We have just added a further one thousand ground protection panels to our hire fleet. With orders coming in from most of the major festivals and some top construction firms from all around the Country. It seems that most site managers both in the construction and event markets are no longer trusting the UK weather and getting their ground prepared in advance.
Observer - "Glastonbury prepares for mudfest as forecasters predict rainy festival season. Submerged tents and mud-splattered clothes are as much a part of the British festival scene as the music – and it looks as if this year could be no exception. Weeks of rain have left the ground wet at many sites, which means a heavy shower or two could transform the areas into a quagmire within hours."
The roadway, seating and temporary structure rental company, GT Trax, is set to return to the Event Production Show after an absence of two years. Graham discovered for himself that the 2013 show had been revitalised by the new organisers, with good visitor numbers and quality exhibitors. GT Trax plan to exhibit examples from their range of equipment, alongside a rolling video demonstration highlighting how their roadways, structures and furniture can enhance an event.
Have a look at a little film about GT Trax and the Showman's Show - we look back at the 2012 Show and look forward to 2013. We display the MegaSol, Foldtables, Marquee Flooring and our temporary roadways and walkways. Make sure that the dates 23rd and 24th of October are already in your diary. See you at the Newbury Showground!
