Temporary roadways
For hire* or purchase. GT Trax temporary roadways are made up from 3m x 1m x 20mm ground panels manufactured from high-quality HMPE plastic. They are joined together by a unique joining system developed exclusively by GT Trax. The roadway can be laid as solid 3m wide roadway or as twin track system with each track 1m wide.

Each panel weighs 56kg allowing two persons to lay or reposition each panel, alleviating the need for additional lifting equipment. The panels are fitted with handles and an engraved top surface grid pattern, making them ideally suited to provide safe support many differing types of vehicle.
In contrast to a metal roadway, the GT Trax HMPE plastic roadway system has no discernable resale value, hence any instances of theft from site is rare. Click images to enlarge.
Our latest Ultra High Molecular Weight (High Modulus) Polyethylene (HMPE) road panels. They have an elasticity modulus of 1000N/mm2, over three times the present industry average for plastic road plates (some products currently achieve around 300N/mm2). They are also lighter than standard panels, and at 56kg per panel they can be installed manually, reducing the cost and time of installation. These panels have been developed using sustainable secondary plastics, and can be 100% recycled back into the manufacturing process. This zero waste process ensures best value throughout the supply chain, as well as minimising the environmental impact of our service.
GT Trax provides a nationwide delivery, installation, removal and collection service via a team of experienced site personnel and a network of transport operators, with unloading and loading facilities. GT Trax welcomes contractors who want to self-install the roadway and comprehensive verbal and written instructions will be provided.
Written method a statements, risk assessments, detailed fitting instructions and material composition characteristics can be provided to clients upon request.
